8 p.m. Friday April 2nd, 2010, at The Salvation Army Yorkminster Citadel, on the East side of Yonge Street, immediately south of the 401 highway, in Toronto Ontario Canada.

The traditional Good Friday service of Tenebrae is a liturgical worship event based in the traditions of the Anglican Church.

Tenebrae is Latin for shadows. The purpose of the service is to recreate the emotional aspects of the passion story. This year Yorkminster Citadel will feature this concept as a basis for a unique Good Friday festival of worship, aided by music, dance, and responsive Scripture that will come together in a colourful and dramatic climax.

Please note that this is an evening event, designed to take advantage of the darkness of the encroaching night as one of the dramatic elements.
