Now that summer is over it's time to think about Christmas!
Your amazing support over the past eight years has kept the annual Territorial Christmas CD alive as an ongoing project, and a great way to feature musicians from across the Territory.
So we're pleased to be able to offer you the 2008 CD at the same low price of only $1.25 Canadian each, plus shipping. The CD remains a great alternative as give-aways in lieu of Christmas cards, as a thank-you to financial supporters, as a PR gift to politicians, businesses and media personnel, and as an added stocking stuffer for employees and clients. It is a wonderful outreach tool at Christmas time at parades, open airs, or anywhere your creative imagination can see fit to use them.
On the back of the CD, there is room for a mailing label and return address. (Note: CDs must be posted as "non-bendable" mail). The CDs come to you opened, so that you can insert your own personal Christmas greeting and/or event invitation before sealing the CD for mailing or giving away. Sealers are provided for you.
This year's title "A Christmas Tapestry", reflects the variety of musical colour and talent represented across our Territory. Featured artists include Mississauga Temple Band, St. John's Temple Band, Cariboo Hill Temple Band, Meadowlands Band, and The Canadian Staff Band. Choirs include Cariboo Hill Temple Songsters, Yorkminster Citadel Songsters, and the 2006 and 2007 Festival Choruses. Ensembles include the trombone quartet Seasonal Slides, Sovereign Brass, New Life Singers, and Celebration Morning. Solo artists include our own Commissioners William & Marilyn Francis; flugelist William White accompanied by his brother James White on guitar; Newfoundlander Cathy Harris, who currently resides in Fort McMurray Alberta; BC soloist Kaylee Harwood, who sings in flawless French; Whitby's talented Andrea Donais, accompanied by her two virtuoso guitarist brothers; and Debbie Crane, an international contributor hailing from the UK.
Above all, the vocal items clearly present the gospel of the Christmas story, and the Christ of Christmas who longs to enter into a living relationship in the hearts of all those who hear His message of hope, freedom and salvation.
