The Georgina Corps Band began its summer ministry on June 25 th 2006 by sharing in the Retirement Meeting for Major and Mrs. Max Bulmer. The Bulmers will be residing in the area and have made plans to begin a 'house ministry' as well as take part in the Corps activities. Major Max has already joined the tuba section of the Georgina band.

The Band also participated in the Decoration Day Service of the Briar Hill Cemetery in Sutton at which Major Max Barrett brought the Message.

Thanking the Major and the Band for their participation was Tom Hare, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
